JKSSB JE Electrical Recruitment 2024: Managing Director JPDCL, Jammu and KPDCL, Kashmir on 16-10-2023 has forwarded the indent/requisition to JKSSB for the selection process of 93 posts of JE Electrical (Divisional Cadre posts). JKEEGA delegation today (14-09-2024) called on Chief Secretary, J&K at Jammu and discussed various issues. On recruitment front , the GAD secretary was asked to table file for clearance as per requirement projected by SSRB after Model code of conduct so as to enable recruitment of JEs

As per S.O 506; Dated 11-10-2024, ammendment was made in Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services Rules, 2010; namely:-
In Rule 6, for sub-rule (1), the following sub-rule shall be substituted:-
“(1) There shall be constituted a Service Selection Board for making selection for recruitment to Subordinate Services/non-gazetted/ Class-W (MTS) posts borne on the establishment of any Department or Service of the Govemment or any Public Sector Undertaking/ Govemment Company/Corporation/Board/Organization and body substantially owned or controlled by the Govemment of Union territory of-Jammu and Kashmir. “By this ammendment the JKSSB has now power to be a recruiting agency for Corporations as well which is the case with JE Electrical recruitment. So all JE Electrical posts that were sent back by JKSSB will be reffered again to JKSSB for recruitment.
